Title: The Future of Exploration *working title

Logline: Searching for the abandoned remains of our industrial past in the modern world of advanced electric technology.

Synopsis:

Arizona has a vast mining history that dates back to the mid 1800s. To this day, abandoned mining sites sit deep in Arizona’s rugged wilderness and still hold the sense of resilience and wickedness that these people endured. Off road vehicles make exploring this landscape possible, and enjoyable, but these combustion machines come with compromise; disruption of the place you are there to enjoy.

Imagine a riding experience where the environment you’re in is still full of life. You have not drowned out the hoot of an owl or the howling of coyotes. Birds do not scurry as you round the canyon’s bend. Electric powered machines offer a better way to explore the natural world with a quieter footprint and a more harmonious riding experience. This film follows a solo rider’s journey exploring Arizona’s backcountry in search of these historic sites. Embracing and embedding into the environment, traversing the terrain, sleeping under the stars and discovering human dedication.

Theme: This film brings awareness to intentional off-road travel, contrasting the experience of the combustion engine with that of electric power. Ultimately, this film studies the balance of nature and technological advancements through real world experience and exploration.

Brand Collaboration: We are looking to collaborate with you to distribute this film and to create additional marketing materials for a brand campaign. Along with the completed film, we can discuss other deliverables of both photo and video to use as advertising content, social media posts, and website assets for example.

Funding: Financial support will allow us to invest more time and attention into the production. For example, hiring on additional skilled crew members or renting specialty equipment. Budget for additional campaign content to be discussed separately.

Short film budget: $2,500 USD (2 person crew, 1 riding talent, 1 day filming, editing rates)

*We would also be open to discussing a product trade for the production of the short film. Not only would this supply us with the electric dirt bike for filming, but it would leave the door open for future projects together. Otherwise, we can send the bike back after filming.

Production Timeline: May~June 2025

• Pre Production: finalize concept and storyboarding, talent and crew, shoot dates

• Filming on location

• Post Production: editing for final video and campaign assets
