On the Run

by Clinton Bloyd

It’s amazing how the older generations find little worth outside of anything that doesn’t make money. Becoming worldly or partaking in any form of personal growth is deemed worthless, unless there is financial gain to be had. There is a high value in what the older generations would consider, “fucking off”. In a modern sense this could be deemed, “meaningful fucking off”. One might call that an oxymoron.
Personally I decided to meaningfully fuck off for nine months as I crisscrossed the nation on a 40 year old motorcycle I pieced together from spare parts. The life lessons that were learned, the experiences that were had and the importance of the trip in relation to the paths I’ve chose since will come to light in future posts.
